Love this...

I never stop looking :)

I found this adorable quilt on a wonderful blog....Quilting With The Past ll... I have a special place
for a very small project and I'm sure this will be the pattern I use...

Have any blog friends done much with "Drunkards Path"?  If you have, please share any tips you may have for doing curved seams :)

Off to get ready for work!!!

Have a wonderful day....

SMILE always...and today I send YOU a hug!

Such joy....

I hope everyone found much to smile about this past week-end.....big things or little it doesn't matter....joy is joy!!!!

Our little bit of "joy and sunshine"

Cooper and Emma.... They make us smile always....

I have two rather large projects that currently take most of my sewing time, both are gifts that I am getting a very big head start on.  Proud of myself because I am staying focused.

But I never stop thinking of what's next :)

This is my next project...."Ladies Album" by Barbara Brackman...love it!!!!
I even have a pattern :)
For now...it sits looking pretty and patiently waiting for me to give the go-ahead!  Not yet!!!!

FOLLOW-UP:
We had a great "Get it Done" class last week...Shame on me I forgot my camera but the gals will bring the "finishes" in again next month for pictures...
These girls really are my motivators.  It's really fun to have discussions on staying focused and the determination to finish something....it does make a difference...Thanks girls - you are what is keeping me on track :)

Do have a great day and a fun week-end....

Remember - SMILE always and always hug someone :)

Finally...

Yup,  I finally have one to check off  as completed!!!

I have my "Get it Done" group each month and I am always encouraging them to "Get it Done"....well I got a turn at doing just that!  It really is a good idea to practice what you preach :) and....it is a good feeling!

This was a sampler class from two years ago.  The objective of the class was to do all methods of quilting - reverse applique, applique, paper piecing, regular piecing etc....
It had its frustrations but I had 30 blocks completed and found that to be just enough to make this quilt.
All blocks are finished at 6"....

The lesson for me - (as I tell the girls) just find a way to make it work and finish it!  I wont even tell you all the things I omitted because it is perfect just the way it is!!!!!  You will be glad you did :)

Warm beautiful day - It always makes me happy!!! So until later....

Remember - SMILE always and give maybe two hugs today....

So exciting.....

I must say it is such a joy to open a package when you have no idea what's in it :)  So much fun!!!!!!

This is what happened to me....I was a winner in a drawing done by Sharon on her blog called  Moosecraft. I love her blog and once you take a peek you will too :)

So my husband brought in three packages the other day and said "wow, you have been busy!!!!  but as I looked at the packages I noticed one was from Sharon...

Here is what Sharon sent me....
Sharon made this "oh so cute" pinkeep and sent along a wonderful note book as an extra!!!!!!
She made them for her winners!!!!!

I was so pleased and so enjoyed getting this bit of sunshine.  Aren't  they just so cute :)  Thank you Sharon....greatly appreciated!!!! and I will enjoy them both :)

A cool but sunny day here today, hope yours is sunny as well!!

Remember - SMILE always and share that hug!!!!
